Including applying for a special hardship order, S87 restricted licence or work licence, SPER (State Penalties and Enforcement Registry)
Work Licences
You can apply for a restricted work licence if you have been charged with drink or drug driving. You can’t if your offence is driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Or failing to provide a specimen of breath (at a police station).
The work licence allows you to continue driving for work related purposes during your period of disqualification.
Special Hardship
A SHO is a court order that allows you to continue to drive on your driver licence under stated restrictions. The restrictions may include (but are not limited to)
– restricting the purpose for which drive
– restricting the class of vehicle you drive
– restricting the days/times you drive
When you have never needed a lawyer before, it’s difficult to know who to trust, what to expect and how much to pay. You know that your licence is important – your ability to work and your family depends upon it – and that you need to do everything that you can to keep it or to get the minimum disqualification period.

Mark is a car enthusiast. He has a unique perspective that comes from understanding traffic law and how devastating it can be to lose your licence. This perspective makes Mark the best Traffic Lawyer around.
When he started Gold Coast Traffic Lawyer in 2009, there were no other Traffic Lawyers marketing their services. Now they are everywhere. Often because other lawyers think it’s an easy area of law. Its not. Although imitation is the best form of flattery, Mark is worried by the some of the results obtained by other Traffic Lawyers. He often speaks to people who have been given the wrong advice by other Traffic Lawyers.
Mark has the experience and the knowledge to assist you with your Traffic law problem. Contact Mark Bamberry to see how he can help you.

Sam is a Criminal Law Accredited Specialist and Traffic Lawyer. As a Lawyer, Sam enjoys a challenge. He became a Lawyer in order to assist people in overcoming their legal problems.
What motivates Sam is his ability to help his clients through difficult times. Traffic offences can cause life-changing consequences for an individual. Sam believes his job is to help people navigate through the legal issues to achieve positive results.
As traffic laws change regularly, Sam prides himself in remaining up to date with the current legislation and case law. Inexperienced lawyers make basic errors in Court when dealing with drink driving laws as they do not have the specialist knowledge that Gold Coast Traffic Lawyer does. Other Lawyers respect Sam for his legal knowledge.
Contact Sam to discuss your traffic offence and he will tell you how he can assist you. Although our office is based in Southport (on the beautiful Gold Coast), Sam is able to assist clients in South East Queensland and other areas in regional Queensland.
